Crabber:

Scott Hamme

Crabber Biography:

There may not be many crabs in McGregor, Texas, but that hasn’t stopped Scott Hamme from learning how to catch the blue clawed monsters of the Patcong from his uncle, Ron Meischker.    Scott has developed from a green horn aboard the Bushelled Out to an accomplished crew member, equally comfortable on the hook, pulling traps or at the helm of the boat.

Scott missed getting his name on the Largest Crab Contest trophy by 1/16″ of an inch in 2011.   That near win has infused him with a desire to bring home the trophy to the Lone Star state with him in 2013, but the winning crab was not in the basket for him.
