Crabber Biography:

Jay Hutton is the leader of Team Yak Ops, a duo of kayaks highly customized for crabbing. Hutton has experience crabbing in the waters around Keyport and the Shrewsbury and Navesink Rivers in NJ, but is not a complete stranger to Patcong Creek and the Great Egg Harbor Bay region.

Hutton and his wife Kerry made their Assault on Patcong Creek debuts in 2015.

: Congratulations to Allison Hillman of Mullica Hill, NJ and Mason Weiss of Sewell, NJ on be selected as our scholarship recipients for the NJ Fish & Wildlife’s Sedge Island Field Experience in August. Allison is a three-year participant of the tournament and a junior champion decoy carver. Mason is a four-year tournament volunteer who is active in scouting. He hopes to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. We will honor them both and present them with checks at this year’s tournament.
