Crabber:
Ed Zielinski
Crabber Biography:
Ed Zielinski began crabbing at the age of four using box traps off a bridge that crosses the Appoquinimink River just south of Augustine Beach, DE and has been hooked ever since. Ed regularly crabs the upper portion of the Delaware Bay and its tributaries and Dividing Creek.
Ed made his Assault on Patcong Creek debut in 2013 aboard the vessel that brought in the most crabs during the tournament, the Crew’s Station. Though 2014 neither yielded the most crab or the coveted Largest Crab, Zielinski is confident that his name will soon be etched upon the Assault on Patcong Creek Trophy.
