Captain Mark Rooney designed and built the 14′ wooden An Mhuir. Powered by a sail and the wind, the An Mhuir is a throwback to Maryland’s crabbing vessels of the past.

: Congratulations to Allison Hillman of Mullica Hill, NJ and Mason Weiss of Sewell, NJ on be selected as our scholarship recipients for the NJ Fish & Wildlife’s Sedge Island Field Experience in August. Allison is a three-year participant of the tournament and a junior champion decoy carver. Mason is a four-year tournament volunteer who is active in scouting. He hopes to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. We will honor them both and present them with checks at this year’s tournament.
