Beth Koppel

Beth Koppel is an veteran crabber who has crabbed everywhere from New York State down to the famed Wye River in Maryland. After a five year hiatus from catching the blue-clawed bugs, Beth returned to the water in 2013, twice working as crew aboard Bushelled Out.

Her crabbing skills and knowledge impressed Captain Ron Meischker enough that he has made the controversial decision to cut longtime crew member Tak Chung to make room for Koppel aboard Bushelled Out for the 2014 Assault on Patcong Creek. Beth is a regular fixture aboard Bushelled Out.
